I use a very tightly-controlled (I'm the only one that can send messages to the group or see the e-mails of the people who've signed up) version of Google Groups to administer my mailing list.
Once you enter your e-mail address into the top right corner of my blog:
Then Google Groups will send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to click confirming that you really do want to be signed up for my mailing list via Google Groups.
To get your free copies of Torn and Thawed Fortunes, you'll need to go to groups.google.com and sign up using the same e-mail that you provided to sign up to the mailing list.
Once you've created your account and signed in, you'll see this page:
Click on 'My Groups':
This will take you to this page:
Click on 'Dean Murray's Mailing List':
Which should bring you to a screen similar to this, which will have the welcome message at the top which contains the coupon codes for both books.
Once you have the coupon codes, go to Smashwords,
Add each book to your shopping cart, create a Smashwords account if you don't have one already, and then enter the coupon code at the time of checkout.
If you have any problems at any step in this process please let me know. If all else fails e-mail me and I'll send you the coupon codes/files directly. This is a bit of a work in progress, but I definitely wanted to try and provide some form of 'thank you' to all of you fans.
